Halloween 2021

We passed out Candy. Trevor was a Devil 😈 and I just wore Halloween print leggings. We had 4 trick-or-treaters and a downstairs neighbor all evening. Trevor was super excited about passing out Candy. We had a bunch left over and it's all gone now. What the 🤬 Trevor? I need chocolate in my life. 😭

Halloween Wedding

Valerie Moore and Danny Ingram Wedding
One of our friends in Oregon got married on Halloween.  I took a lot of photos, but will only share this, as this was their private moment.  I thought it was very cool.  If we had it our way, we would have gotten married on Halloween, but we are saving the date for 4/20.  Trevor is crazy.

Also, some kids are extremely shy or scared. My mom used to dress me in what she thought was cute and I'd feel very self-conscious. Then, we would walk passed people dressed as demons, vampires and zombies and I'd be extremely frightened because I had an older brother who tormented me by scaring me all the time.

I remember taking my kids trick-or-treating and a guy passing out candy, asked a little Vietnamese boy where his costume was. The kid shrugged and the guy said , "No costume, no candy."

We don't know what financial issues the kid's parents had, or if there is a cultural issue (recent immigrants who are allowing their child to participate in a holiday they don't celebrate in their native country).

If you are practicing a holiday for the kids...celebrate for ALL the kids.

Halloween 2012

Chris and his loot
I took Christopher Trick-or-Treating.  I always take hi around the neighborhood.  I'm glad most of the neighborhood participates in passing out candy.  It makes it easier on us.  We don't have to walk as far!

When I was a kid, I remember having to walk long distances sometimes until my plastic mask was too hot for my face, and I was wearing it on my head instead, and my feet would hurt.

Chris dressed up as a pirate and got a lot of loot!

Halloween 2007

Halloween 2007 was exceptionally fun.  I got to dress up with my children.  I went for a Mardi Gras look.  It was Sienna's first time not dressing as something creepy.  She made her own clown costume.  Kalib was a zombie or something and Christopher was a clown, too.  His costume was his clothes, mis-matched.

One of the neighbors that was passing out candy thought Christopher was so cute, she asked her family to come to the door to look at him.  He was so bashful and upset they were looking at him, that he ripped his wig off his head.

My voodoo doll. I made it myself.
